easter weekend
Holidays really are so much different with the kids getting to be a little bit older.  I feel like they really live it up these days, and I think I have pictures this year for proof!

We always visit the Easter Bunny and Santa at The Bass Pro Shop and get to say hello to all of our fishy friends!

This year we decided to decorate eggs by coloring on just boiled eggs, thus making them very hot to handle, thus the mittens.

The Easter Bunny ended up coming to the Hess House and leaving his bunny prints behind!

Easter day was lovely, we had fun at church, took good long naps and then had a great dinner with the family!

Fish frying station, yum!

The "I won't let you hunt easter eggs until everyone smiles" photo!

Checking out their loot!

And of course, Aunt Paula brought presents for all of the kids!
We finished the day with some outdoor fun!

We had great weather, yummy food and a wonderful time with the family. Looking forward to some more warm weather holidays!
A Gymnastics Birthday Party for Charlotte
Last weekend all of Charlotte's favorite people came to celebrate her turning five, by doing her favorite thing...gymnastics! Our sweet neighbor let us borrow all of their gymnastics equipment and Charlotte could not have been more excited!   I think all of her friends had a good time, it was a great party and I know everyone slept well that night!

Charlotte Gray is Five!
We are one week late getting these pictures up of our sweet five year old, but the cuteness makes up for the lateness!  We had a special date with just Daddy, Mommy and Charlotte and went to Krohn Conservatory to get a few shots.  She hammed it up the whole time and really enjoyed her date day!

Ollie is 3
Another year in the books for Ollie James. 3 years old has never looked so good! Excited to see how he grows and changes in this next year. Watch out preschool....here we come.
