It has been an exciting few weeks here recently. Our house is almost complete and so we are preparing for all of that. When we moved to Ohio we figured that we'd be able to take Oliver's 7 month pictures in our new home, but with fingers crossed we should be able to take Oliver's 9 month pictures in the new house. Either way, here are the latest of Ollie. He has now mastered crawling and is able to pull up, stand and hang on with only one hand. We are pretty sure that he'll be walking before we know it. Still only two teeth, but we are certain that he's got more coming in. On a recent trip when I was away, Oliver woke up 11 times in one night, just wanting to be held by Melissa. His nose has been runny too, so we're pretty sure that a few will pop through at any point. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
7 months for ollie james
The summer months have flown by and Oliver just keeps growing into a cute little boy. It's not quite an all out crawl, but he can army crawl to get just about anywhere that he wants. Oliver loves spending his time outside or crawling around the floor playing with anything he can get his hands (and mouth) on. He enjoys sweet potatoes, pears, apples, black beans, oatmeal and pretty much anything that's not green. He is one of the happiest babies I have ever met and his smile is contagious. Charlotte makes him laugh and she is doing a great job as a big sister. She affectionately calls him "koot brudder" "ollie james" and sometimes "sissy" because that's what we call Charlotte now and again. We hope you enjoy a few pictures of Oliver James in his 7 month attire. We threw in some cute pictures we took the other day after a victorious Cincinnati Bengals win. Who Dey?!!!!
We had to promise Charlotte a special treat to sit still for a moment so we could get some pictures...
If you know Charlotte, her face says it all in this one...
I love how Ollie has his hand on her feet.
Charlotte is over taking pictures as this point, but Ollie's smile just won't stop!
A "nice" hug from Charlotte. She really does adore him.
And a great solo shot of Ollie. The way he's looking, he might make a great offensive lineman some day.
six months and two and a half
We have been parents for two and half years now. We have been parents of two for six months. These two keep us on our toes, give us lots of laughs and love each other more than any other siblings I have ever seen! These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago and we are just now getting them up. Hope you enjoy our babies that are getting big way too quickly!
six months
Oliver James came to us six months ago and although he came into our world with gusto, we soon discovered his sweet well mannered personality. Over the past six months Ollie has traveled for days at a time by car and plane, lived in two different houses, still has not had a room of his own and not yet slept in a "real" bed. Some children would let you know that their little lives has been crazy, but he has always been sweet, gentle and one of the happiest babies I have ever seen. Ollie has recently mastered the skill of sitting up straight as a board on his own and now can interact with his big sis like never before. We know that sooner than we will be comfortable with, he will be following right behind her and keeping up with her just fine! His current favorite foods are bananas and pears and eats a huge amount every day. We are concerned about our future grocery bill! Although watching Charlotte is his favorite activity, he did have a great time at the local philharmonic orchestra we went to a week or two ago. We ended up leaving the concert early because he was being so vocal about his love of the music!
His six month pictures are the perfect example of his lovely little personality. These pictures were taken with him having a decent fever. We could not decide to take them or not because he had slept for the most part of the day, including a five hour nap in the afternoon and just generally did not feel like doing much except being cuddled. We are not sure if the fever is due to teething (note the fingers constantly in his mouth) or just a little bug that is going around. Either way, this is him with a fever, pretty sweet just the same!
We hope you enjoyed the pictures of our little man! He is the perfect addition to our family and his personality is loved by everyone he meets!
